Completion of elementary level.
I had five days of private lessons with Murata-sensei from the end of May.
She taught us about manners, etiquette and protocol in an easy-to-understand way, not only about the history of Europe and America, but also about Japan and the Middle East.
During the five days, we had a French restaurant at the Palace Hotel, table manners at the Crown, afternoon tea at the Imperial Hotel, Aqua, and we even moved from our home base to put it into practice!
English conversation may be necessary, but it gave me a chance to think about how to be a Japanese mind as an international person before conversation.
The course is accredited by the British Institute, so the textbooks are all in English, but Murata-sensei, who has experience of living abroad and working for a foreign company, translated the difficult parts for us, so we were able to progress without any problems.
I am not good at history or English, but I was able to spend a very meaningful time.
Thank you very much.
I would like to incorporate international etiquette into my daily life and enjoy being considerate of others and being comfortable with each other.
This was no run-of-the-mill etiquette school!
In addition, she is a wonderful person who is really trustworthy as a lecturer and as a woman, because she has her own axis and never wavers.
