The reason I decided to enrol in the ICPA Etiquette Programme was because, during my time abroad, I felt there was more than just a language barrier — there was an intangible wall I couldn’t quite identify. I began to wonder: could understanding foreign cultures and etiquette be the key to bridging that gap?
I first heard about the ICPA programme through our sister ballroom dance school. Initially, I was hesitant — I wondered if it might be an expensive or overly formal course, and I was quite nervous. After all, I would be attending private one-to-one sessions with a teacher, in a beautiful setting. Could I really manage it?
The course was held in the lounge of a luxury hotel, where I had the opportunity to learn face-to-face, at a comfortable pace, in a refined yet welcoming atmosphere.
What is the teacher like?
First of all, she is both beautiful and full of passion. She has a remarkable presence and the rare ability to bring out the best in each student, guiding them to grow with grace and confidence.
What left the strongest impression on you?
It was definitely her way of carrying herself. These are things we often overlook in daily life, but I learned how important it is to be aware of how we present ourselves — starting with appearance, and extending to posture and behaviour.
How do you plan to apply what you’ve learned?
I would love to apply these skills the next time I travel abroad, as well as in my everyday life and social interactions. It’s not just about etiquette — it’s about feeling confident in any environment.
Who would you recommend the course to?
To anyone looking to step up in life, to those aspiring to success, or simply to anyone who wants to carry themselves with a little more poise and confidence in their everyday lives.
Confidence!
Thanks to this course and the guidance I received, I now carry myself with far more confidence than before.
And finally, to those considering the course…
If you’re even a little curious, I can say with confidence: take the step. I truly believe you’ll be glad you did — it’s a valuable experience that will stay with you.
